VISUAL EXAMPLE TWO KINGDOMS

Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place."                                        John 18:36

...The Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes...                   Daniel 4:17

BLIND WITHOUT HIS HOLY SPIRIT

Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the Kingdom God."                        John 3:3

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.                                                         2 Corinthians 2:14

RELIGIOUS MINDSET

Some people see themselves as the vicar of Christ or replacement for Christ. They believe they are somehow special and serve with the very few anointed who bless others on behalf of Jesus Christ. This is self aggrandizement. They think they have a higher calling or status with God than other people. This comes from a man-made religious hierarchy.

For God does not show favoritism.

                                                 Romans 2:11

KINGDOM MINDSET

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him...                                                              Romans 10:12

As a believer, we become part of the Kingdom of Heaven, forgiven, made righteous and perfected for God's will not ours.  We are no longer of this world, we are of the Kingdom of Heaven while we are in this world. Just like Jesus. We are on God's mission to free the captives and open the eyes of the blind.

BELIEVERS HAVE AN OPEN HEAVEN

They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.                                           John 17:16

We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.                                                              2 Corinthians 5:20

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.                                 2 Peter 3:9
